Pre-launch notice
Skewtape is in pre-launch (launching November 2026). This policy already applies to the launch list and this website, and covers the rest of the service from the moment it goes live. If you have questions, email hello@skewtape.com.

01Who is responsible

Backups of any of this are kept for 30 days.
03When you join the launch list
When you submit a Skewtape form, we add your email to our launch list in Resend, with the details in the first row above. If you are new to the list, our inbox gets one notification with the same details.
We use your email for what you asked: the sample download link, or a dashboard invite on launch day. We do not use it for anything else without asking you. To leave the list, write to hello@skewtape.com.
04Why we are allowed to
- Launch list: your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Purchases: our contract with you, and our legal duty to keep accounting records.
- Analytics, logs and abuse detection: our legitimate interest in running, protecting and improving the service.

These companies act for us under data processing terms, and we choose EU-based providers where we can [TODO: confirm]. We do not sell your data to anyone. Some of these companies are based in the United States: [TODO(legal review): the transfer safeguard used for each company].
06Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookies, uses no advertising networks and loads no third-party trackers. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without identifying you.
Your browser keeps two small settings on your device: the currency you chose and, for 7 days, the fact that you hid the launch banner. They stay in your browser and we never receive them. Stripe's pages are run by Stripe, which sets its own cookies.
07Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete or send you a copy of your data, to limit how we use it, or to stop using it. Email hello@skewtape.com and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr, or to the authority where you live. [TODO(legal review)]
08Children
Skewtape is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
09Changes
When this page changes, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we will tell you first.
